Having learned that Mike Wieringo passed away of a heart attack on Sunday, at the age of 44, I cannot honestly convey the potent grief I feel as I type this. The man and his work meant a very great deal to me and I know I'm not alone in this. I could go on and on about him, about his work, explain to you all why it's so great and what makes a Ringo! comic better than all the other slop on the shelves but this isn't about stringing words together prettily.

Right now, this is about hurting, about grieving, about supporting each other through a very hard time. Because believe me, this world has suffered a great loss.

We're gonna miss you, Mike.
